About Fair Harbor
Fair Harbor is a sustainable coastal lifestyle brand launched in 2014 by siblings Jake and Caroline Danehy. Inspired by their childhood summers spent in Fire Island, NY, the duo’s passion and persistence evolved Fair Harbor into the fastest-growing sustainable apparel company in the United States. The B Corp certified, purpose-driven label began with the simple goal of reducing plastic waste in the water and at the beach. Since then, Fair Harbor has transformed more than 32 million recycled plastic water bottles into stylish lifestyle apparel. The brand also innovated the men’s swimwear space by inventing BreezeKnitâ„¢ fabric, an interior liner for their shorts, to solve the chafing caused by traditional mesh. The company has since expanded into numerous categories as part of its evolution into a full lifestyle brand for the entire family. More than 50,000 five-star reviews from loyal customers attest to the comfort of Fair Harbor clothing. INC magazine’s INC 5000 List ranked them the 26th Fastest-Growing Private Company in America and the #2 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Retail for 2020. In 2021, the Danehy’s earned the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Reuters Responsible Business Award.
Fair Harbor is sold online, in Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and at more than 250 specialty retailers around the country. To learn more about Fair Harbor and shop the latest offerings, visit www.FairHarborClothing.com.
